HUSK's biochar carbon removal credits are now for sale on Cawa.

By buying HUSK's carbon credits, you can support the production of high-quality biochar from rice husks in Cambodia. Not only does this store carbon and mitigates climate change, but it also supports rural communities by improving soil health, increasing crop yields, and lower input costs.

At HUSK, the process starts with rice. The rice plant absorbs carbon dioxide, and the husk is used to create products for the soil: organic biochar, carbon based fertilizers and biopesticides. When the farmers apply the products on their crops, the carbon is buried in the soil, where it remains for hundreds of years.
